Visserslatijn
Er zaten eens drie kikkertjes
Al aan de waterkant
Zei de één tegende ander
Weet je 't al van m'n bijna-vangst
Zat hier laatst te vissen
Lekker in de zon
Toen trok in één keer
Mijn hengel helemaal krom
Ik begon met halen en met vieren
Zag een kanjer van een vis
Ik wilde hem graag vangen
Om te gebruiken als mijn dis
Het lukte me bijna
Toen brak die stomme lijn
Die joekel zwom er snel vandoor
En dit is echt geen visserslatijn

We love our soapies
We follow their lives
Full of intriges
As if it were real life
We dont miss an episode
And watch it each day
It is like an addiction
As though we're chained
The ups and downs
In a world not real
We wait impatiently
For what will be revealed
There is a probable need
To be part of the scene
To escape real life
And live the dream

TheThings I love
I like the early mornings
When the sun begins to rise
The scent of moist soil
While the birds sing their line
I love the wide seavieuw
Watch the waves rolling in
Where noisy seagulls fly
On the smell of saltish wind
I adore my summergarden
When the roses start to bloom
The sweet odour is overwhelming
Like a sensual perfume
I cherish my beloved ones
It is good to have them around
It is a feeling of comfort
For that's, what life is all about

Mothers and daugthers
Fathers and sons
Were you close
When you were young
Did they offer you guidance
Did they offer you love
Did they teach you confident
Or did it all get lost
Parents have to teach
Their children virtues
These moral principles
Are of great value
For a child needs a basis
Of measures and rules
Apply it in life
As a good tool

A Powerful Star
Way up in the sky
There is that powerful star
That strong heavenly light
Close but yet far
A sphere of pure energy
Unthinkable hot
Impossible to get close
Without be burned on the spot
At a considerable distance
It cannot do us any harm
Therefore we can benefit
Its light and warmth
I sincerely hope
It will stay for quite some time
For without its existence
It will be difficult to survive

Rode fluwelen rozen
Violen azuurblauw
De vraag is evenwel
Houd ik echt van jou
Verliefdheid geeft vleugels
Als het rijmpje zo oud
Een onwijs gevoel
Maar blijf je me trouw
Is er reden tot twijfel
Dan gaat het niet door
Door enkel wantrouwen
Wordt de liefde gesmoord
Men moet eraan werken
Zoals aan een gebouw

Een zachte bries
De natuur loopt uit

Een blauwe lucht
Het warme zand
Overvolle stranden
Een zomer's land
Herfstachtige taferelen
Striemende regen
Vallende bladeren
Constant vegen
Winterse ijsvlaktes
Een snijdende wind
Scherpe schaatsen
Glijden gezwind
