Flower of the Sun
You look powerful and strong
The rhythm of the wind
Lets you wave a summer long
Poppy with your ruby flowers
Flaunting in the saffron field
Alluring many buzzing bees
Gathering your honey sweet

I also love cornflowers
With their tiny leaves so blue
Blue like the sky in summer
The season to feel entirely free
Rose with your flowers royal
Queen of flowers quite elite
So diverse and range of colour
Especially when lovers meet
Finally the wild Honey Suckle
One of my favourites too
The fragrance is so overwhelming
It keeps reminding me of my youth
