Teddy Bear
Once I got a teddy bear
A fluffy fur so soft
He watched over me
During the times
I was asleep
A real confidant he was
My secrets are kept safe
Throughout my childhood
He listened silently
As though he understood
If any teddy bear
Could tell his tale
What would he have to say
But as loyal friends befit
He will be silent as the grave
Now old and worn with age
My teddy is still here
The look a bit faint
And at close quaters
It shows a little grey
