Red Bananas
It was rather unfamiliar
I really must say
Never seen red bananas
It looked kind of strange
The color of a chestnut
But in a banana shape
My eyes were playing tricks
By confusing my brain
It is weird
What color can do
It is the maroon
I have to get used to
Underneath the rind
It is the same fruit
Like the golden yellow
It tasted just as good
