A Day In Summer
It is a day in summer
Shall I take a stroll
Along the seaside
Mix with people
On the beach
Or go into the woods
Watch the animals
Nose about
As somewhere quiet
I'll take a seat
Or shall I stay at home
Far from the crowd
With a delicious cup of tea
In the privacy of my garden
In the shade of the old tree
While enjoying the view
I'll take a sip of my tea
Inhale the sweet scent
Of my bed of roses
This means summer to me
