Holland, Holland

Holland, Holland

Zo laten we elkaar respecteren
Daar zit in feite het venijn
Wellicht elkaar beter leren kennen
En dan kan Holland, Holland weer zijn

Father

Father

I often think of my father
I sometimes meet him in my dreams
His love still surrounds us
I am glad God set him free

The evening of my father's passing
The sky was so enchanted bright
Although we were so sad and cried
It felt like a sign, he was alright

Provide with tea and coffee
We revived old memories at his bed
Laughing about his amusing statements
At midnight we said farewell and left

I will never forget my father
We miss him very much
At all times there when needed
Gone is the *grand*fatherly touch

But we still remember
His crazy jokes and twisted songs
I know, he is somewhere among us
Forever busy watching over my mum

Divine Roses

Oh, how I love my divine roses
With their fragrance so sweet
Gertrude Yeckyll and Compassion
My lyrical heart is missing a beat

Nowadays the most beautiful roses
Don't have a perfumed scent
So I highly appreciate
The roses I currently posses

In high summer I enjoy my roses flower
Quite big in beautiful pink
A delicious odeur spreading
By a soft summerwind

And when this season is over
I am looking forward to next year
I hope, they'll once again flower
And will give me the same old cheer

Destructive Change

Breaking Change

What were you really after?
What was your ultimate goal?
What you accomplished, is disaster
You ignored Mother Nature’s call

Why cannot you live in balance?
Why take without compensate
Why couldn’t you resist the challenge
You destroy instead of assimilate

You act as if it is owned
Wherever you go a soiled trace
Your mess has definitely grown
On earth as well as in space

But Mother Nature is fed up now
She strikes back, it’s payback time
Earthquakes, tsunamis, melting ice caps
Don’t you really see the signs?

Listen to the world’s weather forecast
Look how chaos reigns
Floods and droughts started to harass
As a result of your destructive change

A Vison

A Vision

He was Senator Barack Obama
An appearance full of appeal
Now the 44th President of America
The first Afro-American, the feeling is unreal

With the program change can happen
People believed to have prospects again
I pray to God to give him wisdom
To realize what he promissed in his campaign

He tries to motivate and to activate
He knows, what he has to do
Because he has a vision
And the cleansing will do good

So let the recovery begin
We have to grant him time
Remember at the end of the tunnel
There will be a bright light
