A Day Of My Life
Early in the morning
My eldest son, my husband and I
Drove to the LUMC Leiden
To do a temporary checkup
On my transplantation kidney
After three hours I was finally ready
My son picked me up with a friend
And we went to The Hague to eat
We chose the dim sum menu
Which is a range of light dishes
Served with a cup of Chinese tea
We all enjoyed this midday meal
Next we took a walk
Through China Town
With massage salons
Restaurants and grocer shops
I bought some delicacies
At a typical Chinese bakery
Later on we said goodbye
To my son’s friend
At Het Spui we met my mate
Due to work he was a bit late
We immediately hurried home
For we still had to vote
