The Good Lord
You are the Alpha and the Omega
You are the Light on my path
You give me guidance
When I am wandering in the dark
You are always with me
In good times and in bad
You are there, when I am happy
You comfort me, when I am sad
Even in my darkest hour
You are near to hold my hand
You provide me with power
You are the footsteps in the sand
They are wondering, why I keep so steady
Then I tell them about You
About the trust, the comfort, and the shelter
And about each time You pull me through
