In Remembrance


I saw the Michael Jackson memorial service today
The stories told by his family and friends
Taught me to see him in an entirely different way
Not at all the weird man as described by the press

Called a Wacko Jacko or a Peter Pan
He seemed by plastic surgery obsessed
Also supposed to be rather white than black
That was the public image he had

But in private he was a totally different one
He liked to make jokes and enjoyed to have fun
A generous and caring person
Who loved to entertain and to perform


He was a perfectionist in his music and dance
His children love him as the very best dad
He will be missed by his family, friends and fans
The world lost the best performer it ever had
