Pure Consciousness
There is no heaven scientists say
It is just the serotonin in the brain
To make you feel calm and at ease
So you may pass away in peace
But there must be more out there
Paradise, Nirvana, Shangri-La
Already given so many names
So it cannot only exist in the brain
It has to be a wonderful place
With only brilliant light of day
You don’t have to be afraid
Death is just the transition way
It is an existence of another kind
A pure consciousness of mind
A state long before birth
Prior to your coming to earth
